The installation of superchargers in national parks is an ideal way for Parks Canada to promote the protection of ecosystems and its commitment to fight climate change. The townsite of Jasper is a logical location with its existing infrastructure at the junction of highway 16 and the ice fields parkway. Just last week, my husband and I travelled from our home in Moose Jaw, SK to enjoy a winter holiday in Banff and Yoho. Our destinations were chosen in part by the convenience of fast chargers and the nearby businesses benefitted as a result. We like Jasper and are much more likely to visit again with a supercharger.
